  1. I did watch until I was satisfied that, barring an Al Franken-style finding of a few million votes in the trunk of a Prius somewhere, Trump had won. And I celebrated with a wee bit of Glenlivet 18 single malt. Ahhhh, to savor the moment…

  2. Ditto what Kathy said, tannngl.

I too went to bed resigned to 4 years of H.C., only to turn on the news in the morning to learn that we had been issued a reprieve. Hooray!

How revealing that the Left found the prospect of a return to the Constitution and America first to be so devastating to them.

  3. Love it, tannngl. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Funniest tears I’ve ever seen.

I couldn’t stay awake until the bitter end, so I went to bed resigned to the idea that Hillary would be the president when I woke up the next morning. Imagine my delighted surprise to find out Trump had won and we don’t have to hear the words ‘madam president’ or live in a world where she rules for four years. God is good!!

    • So glad you enjoyed the memories!
I stayed up and watched the returns as they came in and couldn’t believe my ears and eyes! And I praised God Almighty for His intervention. A miracle!
