What Happens When You Can’t Trust the FBI and the Department of Justice?

From: pjmedia.com,  by Roger L. Simon,  on Sep 23, 2016

In a stunning Friday (isn’t it always?) revelation, we found out that yet another key figure from Hillary Clinton’s “rat pack” — her former chief-of-staff Cheryl Mills – was given immunity in the email server investigation.

As Ed Morrissey points out, that makes “at least five” — who knows how many there really are — who have received this treatment.  So far that’s techies Bryan Pagliano and Paul Combetta (more of him in a moment), John Bentel of the Office of Information Resources Management, and Heather Samuelson, an aide to Mrs. Clinton.

How much the public knows of their immunized testimony is clear — nothing.  How much is known by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Jason Chaffetz,, is less apparent, but since Chaffetz only just found out about the powerful Mills, as well as Bentel and Samuelson, we can assume the committee knows little, if anything, of what they had to say.

All this weeks after FBI Director James Comey, under what level of coercion from Loretta Lynch (and the White House) we can only guess,  made his determination not to make a legal referral in the matter of Hillary Clinton.

The Combetta revelation — that the Clinton techie was querying peers on Reddit for advice on how to delete email addresses — has already caused a brouhaha that threatens to (and should) explode. As Fortune explains:

Combetta is an IT professional who helped manage Clinton’s private server and then invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination rather than testify before a Congressional Oversight committee last week.Ordinarily, this might have been enough to shield Combetta from accusations that he tampered with or destroyed evidence. But now Internet sleuths have unearthed a Reddit post that appears to represent Combetta asking for advice on how to hide the name of a “VERY VIP” in a batch of emails.

There’s a lot more in the incriminating exchange and Combetta is clearly in trouble. Even the reliably pro-Clinton Snopes could not dispute the uncomfortable truths about the man who scrubbed (or bleached) the emails and his unscrupulous employers:

The identity of u/stonetear [Combetta’s handle from Reddit and elsewhere] has not yet been confirmed, and an attorney for Platte River Networks [Clinton’s email tech company] has declined to comment on the claims. Combetta was earlier granted immunity by the Justice Department with respect to the Clinton e-mail investigation, and he invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to testify during a hearing earlier in September 2016, before the Reddit controversy placed him under sharper scrutiny.House Republicans have scheduled a hearing pertaining to preservation of state records for 22 September 2016, and Rep. Smith’s letter set a deadline of 23 September 2016 for Combetta and other Platte River Networks employees to arrange “transcribed interviews” with the Committee. Neither Combetta nor legal representatives for Platte River Networks have denied the claims.

The plot sickens, as they say. Who ordered Combetta to do the bleaching? Doesn’t the public have a right to know?  Isn’t it time for the FBI — or some decent agent or agents — to fess up to save the rapidly declining reputation of their organization? That the Bureau has been under attack of late for failure to identify terrorists because of overweening political correctness has only exacerbated the public perception that all is far from well in the J. Edgar Hoover Building.

This amounts  to what the great Italian playwright Ugo Betti referred to as Corruption in the Palace of Justice. Besides being totalitarian in essence, the obfuscatory policies of Lynch and Comey have made certain that Hillary Clinton, should she win the presidency, will never have anything close to the consent of the governed.  She will never be reliably cleared and an extremely high percentage of the public  will never believe her — and will be correct in doing so.

We live under a dictatorship of the moral narcissist bourgeoisie. They think they know more than we do and can do anything they wish. Actually, they know little and couldn’t care less.  All they want is power and will cling to at it any cost, even the truth and basic morality.  And we are their victims.

Mr. Simon has, once again, nailed it when describing this woman, a woman who wants to be our first woman president. Rather than the White House, Hillary Clinton should be preparing for a stay in a federal penitentiary. The Clintons, both of them, should receive an award for being the most corrupt family in U.S. history, yet some apparent un-engaged citizens are still planning to vote for her for the presidency. That’s masochism, in my view, since citizens voting for her will be enriching her, her family, and her willing accomplices at the expense of honest taxpayers.

We’d all be better off if we could bribe her to drop out of the presidential race. I’ll bet that she would accept a measly $10 from each and every taxpayer in the U.S. to drop out. After all, that would yield a grand sum of about $1.22 billion dollars. That’s figured on 122 million taxpayers who pay federal income tax. It could even be a checkoff on our federal income tax form 1040.

I’d be happy to contribute my $10 to keep Hillary miles away from the Oval Office, how ’bout you?

  1. The way to restore trust back into FBI is to arrest Hillary Clinton and others involved. If this doesn’t happen, the FBI will forever be a joke and seen as a compromised useless agency nobody can respect ever again. Loretta Lynch needs to step down or be arrested for obstruction of justice. These pukes are out of control and if FBI fails to protect Americans from this cocky, chronic corruption, it will be the end of the FBI. They will be effectively completely compromised. Lock Hillary up. When a law goes unpunished the people feel it’s okay to do wrong. And when high officials don’t get punished the people will revolt.

    • Can’t argue with your comment, Derek. I agree that the FBI is on shaky ground right now and the only way to revive their reputation is to vigorously investigate and prosecute ALL of those who committed felonies – and that includes Hillary, Bill, and their cronies who were involved. They are NOT above our laws and deserve no less punishment than you or I would get.

  2. I want to try to convey a line of thought which has led upto this madness being openly displayed.
Remember back in the early 70’s and No-Fault Divorce passed, yet any coverage about any news story covering gays was still taboo?
There, go back and watch the history, the development, of how much destruction has developed upon our family structure and how it’s become taboo to criticize gay activities.
And now, by now, we are to be surprised to be witnessing this cabal of insolence permeating throughout every crevice of government which is now openly blatantly surrendering our country to authoritarian corruption?
And we are suppose to just wait for another chance to vote to make ever a difference of how Our Country was developed by US Citizens that would protect the interests of its citizens under the protection of a government WE THE PEOPLE hired to do just that – Protect the USA and its own citizens from outside forces forcing in against US or even from emanating into the government and begin attacking US the ones who voted for them?????

  3. >>”,,,citizens voting for her will be enriching her, her family, and her willing accomplices at the expense of honest taxpayers.”

Those voters ARE her willing accomplices, Garnet. They have one hand out while they vote with the other, waiting for their paybacks.

As much as I like the idea of buying Hillary off, it’s not just money that motivates her. She has lots of money now and can rake it in faster than she can count it, but money isn’t enough. She wants power and she wants to gratify her enormous ego by being the first female U.S. president. Nothing short of that will satisfy her.

    • Yeah, Hillary’s pretty well insulated from justice. On one hand, she’s got the “hands out” crowd wanting their payback and on the other, she’s got the crowd who’s trying to avoid her pay back – a “suicide” caused by multiple shots to the back of the head.

  4. Shoot, I’d send $100 if it would keep her out of there. Simon got it right – we are their victims. All of these people are up to their beady little bloodshot eyes in corruption and we’re powerless, because it’s consumed so much of our government. The ones who aren’t corrupt are few and most of them are mute.

I have to wonder if it’s possible for Trump to beat this much corruption and voter fraud. It would be a different matter if he were merely competing for legit votes, but he’s up against a mighty big and powerful machine this time around.

    • I wonder too Kathy. If I was sure that the election was completely on the up-and-up, Trump would win in a landslide, but with the ability of the dems to manufacture votes out of thin air, I wouldn’t stake my life on it. Still, the debate is tonight – and for once, I’ll be watching and pulling for The Donald.

I’ll bet that Hillary is pumped full of all sorts of “medicines” to help her stand upright, to control her coughing, her eyes, and her recollection of facts. If Trump just keeps his cool, he should “trump” her easily.

      Stay tuned …
