CAIR’s List ‘Enemies of Islam’ Is a Hit List

The Hamas-affiliated Council on American Islamic Relations, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates, has released an “Enemies of Islam” list.

If ISIS did the same, we would be frightened, of course. But CAIR is ostensibly doing this to fight “Islamophobia,” so we have to pretend that it’s done in pure good faith — even though numerous members of CAIR have been charged with terror-related crimes in the past.

Breitbart reports:

Americans are being marked for murder whenever their names appear on the annual list of so-called “Islamophobes” posted by the jihad-linked Council on American Islamic Relations, say two Americans on CAIR’s 2016 enemies list.

“This is a hit list,” said Nonie Darwish, a former Egyptian Muslim, now living in America. CAIR “should be held legally responsible for inciting violence against us,” she said, after citing several Muslims and non-Muslims who have been personally targeted by Muslims sharing CAIR’s Islamic ideology.

“They want to shut us up by putting us in a position of fear,” said Zuhdi Jasser, founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, which is pushing for modernization of Islam in the United States. “Not only does their list put our lives at risk, but it is full of false information [and] they’ve never called us.”

At least two of the people cited in the report have been targeted for murder by jihadis. Pam Geller, who is described by the new report as “Islamophobe Pamela Geller,” has survived two plots. Similarly, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, an ex-Muslim and a former legislator in Holland, has a security detail to protect her from attacks.

Other people and organizations on the list include Bill Maher, Mark Levin, and FOX News.

Something similar from the Southern Poverty Law Center comes to mind. The SPLC has categorized so many organizations as “hate groups” you’d think they’ll eventually add themselves to that list. Back in 2013, an armed man attempted an attack on the Family Research Council on the basis that the SPLC categorized them as an “anti-gay” hate group. And let’s be honest, Muslims tend to be a bit more sensitive to criticism than the gay community.

A “draw Mohammad” contest in Texas attracted two Jihadis who planned on killing everyone involved — yet apparently didn’t consider the gun culture of Texas and were promptly shot dead in just moments.

Not everyone who winds up on this list can afford private security, however.

CAIR’s existence in the US is at best, questionable, and at worst, further Islamic infiltration by the enemy. The Breitbart piece goes on to report that CAIR’s new report is titled “Confronting Fear“, and it was slated for publication June 14. But on June 12, the release was delayed six days because a Muslim murdered 49 Americans in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Following are pages from that report (pdf file) that show the complete list and some additional groups ‘of concern’.

If you go to CAIR’s home page, you’ll see the following statement –

CAIR’s department to monitor and combat Islamophobia tracks sources and incidents of Islamophobia across the country, creates dossiers on prominent Islamophobes, and produces factsheets to debunk false information that has been spread about Islam.

The creation of this list makes it easier for the sharia supporters, renegades and other followers to find the targets and carry out their mission of wiping out the infidels.

This admin condones this all while making every effort to disarm Americans.

  2. You guys have covered it! These leftist groups, as CW mentioned, like CAIR and NAACP and BLM and now, even a lot of the LGBT groups are all using the same tactics out of the same playbook. The end justifies the means and that includes being on the offensive, bullying and intimidation, lying about their agenda and demeaning those who oppose them. As CW said, that’s the leftist way and we are in a war with them. Too many of us simply choose to view them as aggrieved people with some justification for their feelings and not as anarchists hell-bent on agitating sympathy for their radical causes. And Kathy is right, even if we gave in tomorrow, they’d just begin agitating anew to gain even more power. They’ll never be satisfied until they are in control.

  3. I see many parallels between CAIR and groups like the NAACP. They both strive to suppress the truth about the constituencies they purport to represent while demonizing and attacking anyone who dares to speak out about it. They are never ashamed to achieve want they want by intimidation and censorship, and they see nothing wrong with bullying people to get respect and acceptance rather than earning it by dealing with members whose behaviors stigmatize the entire group. That the leftist way and that’s the common bond such groups share between themselves and with people like Barack Obama who are currently running our government. There’s no sense appealing to our public servants for help. We’d be wise to start making some lists of our own.

    • Exactly, CW, they spend all their time bullying people who vocalize their disagreement with them. They’re not seeking ‘equal’ treatment, but instead want to be treated special. Even if we gave in to them, they wouldn’t be satisfied. If they truly wanted to combat islamophobia (I hate that word) they’d be blasting the air waves with their message, not making lists of their enemies.
