You’ll notice there’s been a scramble to blame the Orlando shooting on anything except Islam.
It’s homophobia. It’s a symptom of America’s gun culture. It’s a hate crime. It wasn’t. It was ISIS. The New York Post reports: The shooter who killed at least 50 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando has been identified as Omar Mateen, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Mateen was a U.S. citizen with no apparent criminal history, was born to Afghan parents in New York in 1986 and was living in Port St. Lucie, Fla., sources said.
Omar Mateen had committed himself to ISIS before carrying out the bloodiest mass murder in US history at a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday, federal officials said.
NBC reports, “The gunman…had called 911 moments before to pledge allegiance to the leader of ISIS, law enforcement sources told NBC News.
Shooter Omar Mateen, 29, appeared to be a follower of ISIS propaganda and referenced the Tsarnaev brothers, who carried out the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013, at the scene, sources said.”
And if that doesn’t convince you – ISIS has officially claimed credit for the attacks.
The case is settled. We can’t solve a problem without correctly diagnosing it, and if political correctness continues to interfere with reality, we will never see the end to attacks like this.
As expected, immediately following the massacre, Democrats are calling for a ban of the AR-15. They refuse to admit that this psycho would have found other weapons to use had the AR-15 not been available. I say let’s ban democrats instead. It’s funny how in gun-free Paris, the attack was blamed on muslims, but here in an armed America, attacks are blamed on guns.
Take a look at this video where, in April an Imam told people that homosexuality is punishable by death. He says it as if he were simply clarifying the rules we have to live by. He was one of the speakers at an Orlando mosque, so all those good and faithful muslims had this drilled into their heads.
Maybe this killer was there or maybe not, but how many more potential terrorists did this man reach? Will the sight of two guys kissing set off the next mass killing?
Of course this is allowed because here in the US this man has freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Anyone who says these killings don’t have anything to do with religion, as the terrorist’s father said, is lying – it’s taught right there in the mosques.
When do our leaders admit that we are at war with Islam, the religion? It simply cannot coexist in our country.
