Princeton Prof: Transgenderism Not Scientific, ‘Superstitious Belief’

Call me Caitlyn

A noted Princeton University professor has attacked the very notion of transgenderism, saying that the belief “that a woman can be trapped inside a man’s body” is ludicrous and superstitious, with no basis in medical fact.

Robert P. George, the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton, sent out a tweet late Sunday evening questioning the science behind the transgender movement, in reaction to the Obama administration’s threatening letter to educators mandating accommodation of gender-confused teenagers.

George, who is also the Chairman of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, sent our another tweet warning of the effects of the Obama letter on parents’ rights to educate their children in a safe environment.

George’s concerns over the transgender movement echo the recent statement by the American College of Pediatricians, which argued forcefully against encouraging young people to question their own biological sexuality.

“A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking,” the doctors stated. “When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.”

The pediatricians noted that children who think they are a different gender than they are suffer from a recognized mental disorder called “gender dysphoria.”

The letter from the Obama administration treats gender dysphoria as if it were a healthy, rather than pathological, mental condition.

“Transgender describes those individuals whose gender identity is different from the sex they were assigned at birth. A transgender male is someone who identifies as male but was assigned the sex of female at birth; a transgender female is someone who identifies as female but was assigned the sex of male at birth,” the letter asserts.

Though preceding the Obama edict by nearly two months, the Pediatricians’ statement reads like a direct response to the unprecedented measure.

“Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present to ‘gender clinics’ where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs,” the physicians warned.

“Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse,” they concluded.

~~~~~~~~~~
Finally, it’s looking like the sane world is waking up to the revolution being attempted by the LGBT crowd. They are doing their damnest to condition the American public that “transgendered” people are “normal” too – just like you and I. Balderdash, poppycock, and bullshit. They are the very definition of ABNORMAL.
The Obama letter uses the term “assigned” to describe whether the child is born as a male or a female. This ludicrous description shows just how far Obama and his ilk will go to deceive those easily influenced automatons who populate the democrat party and are likely Obama and Hillary voters. So male or female genitalia are “assigned” at birth? That’s what Obama’s letter says. If that were true, how would ultrasound be able to “see” the genitalia before birth? They’re assigned all right, they’re assigned by God. Haven’t they heard? He’s been doing that for eons.
It’s just one more example of Obama’s attempt to remake America – and apparently even to remaking a man into a woman and vice versa. Good luck with that, Barack. You might want to start with a gender reassignment operation to change Michelle to a woman. In fact, why don’t you two just switch genders, you might feel more comfortable that way.
    • In today’s society, I guess I’m something of an oddity. I was born a male, I’ve enjoyed being a male, and I have no desire to be a female – how screwed up am I? Of course, I’m being facetious. Apparently, something like 99.7% of us humans are comfortable in our own bodies and satisfied with its plumbing. That means the .3% are the ABNORMAL ones, not us. It’s good that learned experts are beginning to weigh in with facts that refute the concepts that the LGBT Nazis are peddling.
  2. Remember back in the old days when we actually treated mental illness and even cured people of their various afflictions? These days we honor them with rainbow parades and special mandated bathroom privileges, while the other 99% of the population walks on eggshells around them. Why? Because at some point, the higher ups decided perversions aren’t a mental disorder, instead it’s just a different lifestyle and we shouldn’t judge.
    Maybe if enough experts voice their opinions, we can put all this back in the closet where it belongs.
    • LOL 🙂 ! If we all got to self-identify as who/what we truly thought we deserved to be, who would be left to do all of those new $15/hr jobs? I suspect that the libs would deem it necessary to raise the minimum wage to (at least) $250/hr.
      BTW, after you pick up your winnings, contact me I’ve got some “can’t miss” investments you need to see.
